Over 40 years ago she founded Adopt-a-Cat, an organization which has now saved thousands of feline lives as one of the all too few refuges in the USA with a no-kill policy.

The Cat Lady of Concord takes the reader behind the scenes and over the top as the author recounts cat tales of all sorts based on the real the life episodes of her crusade for the better treatment of cats and animals in general.

Floy Morway was born in Canada and has lived in Concord, MA since 1982. The organization she founded, now called Adopt-a-Cat of Concord still continues to save and re-home felines. For her years of selfless dedication to animals the New England Anti- Vivisection Society awarded her their "Reverence for Life Award.
